- 2 candles

- 2 drawings from her loving boys

- A bottle of wine

- Flowers

- Sour cream and onion potato chips

- Checkers fries

What's the occasion?  None.  We just love her.

What a wonderful world we live in

On a short vacation in Daytona Beach, eating dinner at iHop.  As a gentleman from a nearby table was leaving he left money with the waitress to buy dessert for our boys. I am sure he's not reading this blog. I would like to say thank you. Since I can't, I'm going to pass along a similar gesture whenever I remember.

The little boys played in their first Pokemon tournament

It was the Plasma Blast pre-release tournament.  Each person that enters is given 6 packs of the new Plasma Blast Pokemon cards.  Since both of the boys finished all 3 matches they were given an extra 2 packs each.  To make it even better, both boys won the raffle and received an official Pokemon die, which can be used as a damage counter if necessary (yeah, that's Pokemon talk - learn it if you're cool).

 

Jacob was amazing!  He helped everyone, including the opponents.  We couldn't have asked for him to do anything better than he did.  He was perfect, and a huge help to Will and Matt.

 

End of match #1.  Lockrem wins: 2.  Lockrem losses: 0.  WOOHOO!!!

This was big time!  Speaking of big time, Jacob didn't have the biggest hair in the room (can you find the bigger hair?).

 

What a great day!  Happy Birthday dad (me)!  This was a great way to spend the day.  I can't wait until the Regional Championships.
