What does my wife, clam chowder, and pocking the cah have in common?
You'll have to read this entire post to find out.
Kristi-Anne was too sick to run the Donna marathon relay. I took her place. I don't know all of the details, but it's possible she had a bad case of the runs (see photo above to understand joke). |
It was extremely cold for Florida. Some of us (Kim) had to sit in a Uhaul to stay warm before her turn. Separate topic: Have you ever seen Born in East L.A.? |
Others were too hot for their clothes. I guess Cadillac's have better insulation and heaters than Uhauls. |
Our team (in reverse photo, but proper running order). Rhiannon, Kim, Eric, me, Alan. |
Jen ran the marathon all by herself. I guess she didn't make the cut to run with our team :) |

Yeah, my average is 1st place. What is yours?
23:52 for my first 5k. That exceeded my expectation by more than a minute.
Bounce houses are ALOT of fun. |

The young boys and I did some decorating
We hung some Mario Brothers 3D pictures. |
I hung 80% of them. 20% are crooked. Coincidence? |
Matt hammered the nail into the wall and hung his Pokemon calendar. |
The boys quickly decided organization is unnecessary. What we needed was Pokemon coloring pages. |
We can finally relax. Interior decorating is hard work. |

Almost Straight As
Jen and I have been following Jacob's grades very closely for the last 10 weeks or so. At that time he had:
1xF
1xD
3xC
2xB
Needless to say, that was not ok. He has worked very hard to bring up his grades.

YAY!!! Almost all As. The only B is in the class that gives you 200 points for dropping 2 seeds on the ground. Straight As, here we come!
...almost. Apparently Jacob scored a 56% on a Geography test yesterday. The first grade posted for that class will be an F.
Come on Jacob. So close...
